On Saturday of week 3 of every course we invite one of the biggest language schools in the Czech Republic, James Cook Languages, to run a workshop for those who are interested in staying in the Czech Republic after the course. The workshop is free to attend and will, besides other information, cover the following:
- Cross culture differences between native speakers of English and the Czechs
- Basic grammar differences between the English and Czech languages
- Senior teachers' experience gained in different real situations in the classroom
Prague Schools takes an active interest in helping trainees find suitable jobs. Prague Schools has plenty of contacts with potential employers, especially with language schools in the Czech Republic.
- CVs are emailed to appropriate schools, targeting those that best match your expectations.
- During the month of the course we invite prospective employers to make presentations and offer jobs to our trainees.
- Our Job-search notice boards highlight all recently advertised jobs, both in the Czech Republic and around the world.
Prague Schools always provides detailed and prompt references for your new potential employer! This is very important securing an employment.
Please note that
A. There is no absolute guarantee of a job via this service. We make exhaustive efforts to find jobs / leads for all Prague Schools' trainees / graduates but guarantees are not made. You should always make as much effort as possible to find work on your own behalf to run alongside Prague Schools' efforts.
B. There are some areas of the world where it is very difficult to place trainees - you stand a better chance being "on the spot". These include: Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East and the USA. For more details on this you should ask during your job-search interview. The easier parts of the world to obtain work are most of Europe especially Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa.
