After getting my initial qualification with Prague Schools back in March 2003, I immediately started looking for a job. My search materialised in a full-time position as a TEFL teacher with Interlang Istanbul. I never thought I would fall in love with Turkey to the extent of spending 2 and ahal years of my life there. While working there, I benefited from a number of workshops which contributed greatly to my professional development and realisation that TEFL is a rewarding profession. I started the DELTA course in October 2004 because I had, by then, come to the conclusion that what I really wanted to do in the future was teacher training. In early March this year I was offered the Director of Studies position with one of Interlang's branches in Istanbul, so I did that for a while, in parallel with my Diploma studies which ended successfully in June. The new job was one step ahead in my career, but still not exactly what I was looking for in the long-term. This summer I came back to Prague on holiday...and stayed. I have returned with more experience and hope that people who come on our course will enjoy it as much as I did. Now I know that being a teacher trainer is what I've always wanted to do.
